Twice a year, Health Coach Institute hosts a live (and virtual) event called “HCI Live” for its Become a Health & Life Coach student community. This is an inspiring 3-day experience that features special industry speakers, presentations and workshops with the founders and lead instructors. It also includes one-on-one coaching practice sessions, catered lunches, and a dynamic "Dress to Express" party. Most importantly, this event allows students to connect and network with their peers from across the globe.

The objectives for the opening and closing videos were to represent the energy and inspiration of the event, and express  emotion through purposeful music and visual tone. The videos would also serve as promotional tools post event, so they had to tell the story of what HCI offers, which includes an accredited coaching certification program that lends to a very community-forward, life-changing experience. As the creative director, I collaborated with stakeholders and cross-team leaders to determine strategy, and worked alongside my internal media design team to create storyboards, compelling graphics and b-roll sequencing, that would make the HCI Live story come to life.
